Racing in a Cub Scout derby is a lot of fun! You and your son, daughter, or your whole family will work together to design and build a derby car and see it perform on race day. There is even room for siblings to create their own car and enter it!  Win or lose, you'll take pride in having done your best. When scouts compete in the Pinewood Derby race, they learn craft skills, the rules of fair play, and good sportsmanship!

Trophies are given out for speed and appearance and each scout receives a Pinewood derby patch.

We will hold our annual Pack Pinewood Derby Races on Saturday in early February at Otter Lake Elementary! The Many Waters District Pinewood Derby race is in April.
